Motivated leader for Bartlesville
I have known Jim for many years, and his steadfast support for advancing our community is always impressive. Jim and I served on the Bartlesville City Council together. He was, and remains, a fantastic leader and a dedicated servant to Bartlesville. Coupling those qualities with his thorough knowledge of the city’s operations, it is easy to see that Jim makes a wonderful councilmember. It is my honor to support Jim’s candidacy for re-election to Bartlesville’s City Council in Ward 3.
John J. Kane, Bartlesville
Time for a change!
Jim Curd is a man of integrity and wisdom, and I am so pleased that he is running for our City Council in Ward 3. His opponent, Mr. Gorman, has been in office for 10 years.
No one person is responsible for the city’s financial controls, long term water issues or any other city issue. Instead these issues are addressed by the people who make up our city administration and are overseen by our five-member council.
Jim is a successful businessman (Dink’s Bar-B-Que and Sterlings Grille) and has contributed his wisdom to numerous boards, both nonprofit and governmental, over his many years in Bartlesville.
Please consider voting for Jim Curd on Nov. 8. I believe he will make a very positive contribution to the City Council and our community as a whole.
Advocate for Bartlesville
Jim Curd has been advocating for Bartlesville for years! His love for our community is apparent in everything he does. Jim is passionate, caring and committed to making Bartlesville a better community. When Bartlesville was working to bring the American Legion World to Bartlesville, Jim worked diligently on the committee to bring the world-class event to town. He listens to all members of the community and, when he sees a need, he doesn't just talk the talk, he gets in and works to get things done. That's the kind of 'team player' and community leader we need. Jim is a forward-thinking, business-minded, family-oriented individual that loves this city and will continue to support it's growth and success. I encourage you to vote for Jim Curd.

Jim Curd for Council
I have watched him closely over his time and office, and he has always acted in the best interests of the city. We are truly fortunate.
Bill Johnstone, Bartlesville
Advocate for Bartlesville
Jim Curd is passionate about the quality of life in Bartlesville. As a City Council member for the past 6 years he has led the effort to improve our parks, to maintain and expand Pathfinder, and to enhance our facilities for youth sports. He has proven himself to be an excellent steward of city funds, always getting the most out of what is available.
Jim is a local business owner who has raised his family in Bartlesville. This is his home and he cares a great deal about our communities’ future. He is a man that gets things done and he has my vote for Ward 3 City Council.
Bob E. Pomeroy, Bartlesville
Delivers on his promises
Debbie and I have been residents of Bartlesville for over 20 years and have chosen to make this our home in retirement. We are optimistic about Bartlesville’s future and passionate about helping us compete for the future. I have worked closely with Jim Curd on several different initiatives and know he will continue to deliver on his promises and bring an open approach to all aspects of City Government.
Jim has helped drive many positive changes for the City the past 6 years – growing our sales tax revenues, improving our basic infrastructure, securing long-term water rights, investing in our parks and quality of life amenities, improving downtown and our arts district, and helping grow tourism.
Jim understands that Bartlesville is competing against other communities for businesses, workers, and residents. He will continue to work daily to help strengthen and grow our local businesses while trying to attract new workers and residents. We are in a much better position now, but still have much work to do. The activities listed above have been done in a fiscally responsible manner, as the City operates with a balanced budget and has grown the rainy-day fund. I urge you to vote for Jim Curd for Ward 3 to help make Bartlesville a better place to live now and
for future generations!
Mark & Debbie Haskell, Bartlesville
